PRP and KeraLase Promote Hair Growth for Men and Women
Hair loss can be traumatic for any individual. Our two non-surgical methods of hair restoration can give you back both your confidence and your hair. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) promotes hair growth by using your body’s own platelets; KeraLase stimulates hair growth with a proprietary biomimetic process. A complimentary consultation can determine if you are a good candidate for one, or both, of our treatments.
How PRP Hair Restoration Works
Your blood is drawn and then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is rich in proteins and growth factors. After the scalp area is numbed, the platelet-rich plasma is applied directly onto the scalp. Next, our medical professional performs a microneedling procedure, which creates microscopic punctures to absorb the plasma, which is also injected into key areas of the scalp. The platelets stimulate hair-follicle activity to re-grow hair over the weeks and months ahead. Usually four or more treatments are recommended. Our healthcare professionals can discuss how many treatments are right for you.
How KeraLase Hair Restoration Works
Our hair restoration specialist Fiona Vierneza, FNP-C uses the LaseMD Ultra laser to create tiny microchannels in the scalp. KeraFactor serum, which contains proprietary biomimetic growth factors designed specifically to promote hair growth, is then applied topically to the scalp. The microchannels created by the laser allow the growth factors to penetrate into the scalp and activate hair follicles. Treatments take just 10-15 minutes each. A series of at least 6 treatments is advised for most patients.
